EASTER SUNDAY with an Island Twist . . . At 11am on Sunday, April 24, all the traditional elements of the Easter Story will be here . . . familiar hymns, Christian Scripture readings . . . but with a little Key West twist. What? Come and find out. (actually, it is all there in the story, but usually no one notices).
BENDING TIME and Other Linear Constraints Sunday’s Service at 11am will challenge the way we look at linear systems of all kinds . . . as we remember that religion is the past grand master at challenging linearity. Are we coming full circle as science and religion meet? Come and find out on Sunday, as we explore time, space, and meaning in new (and also old) ways.

Sunday, February 6 -- 11am: UNTO THE CHURCH UNIVERSAL - What We Inherit From Roman Catholicism For centuries, when one spoke of the Christian Church, one meant the Roman Catholic Church, even for those traditions, like ours, which were considered heresy. The subtle interplay of orthodoxy and heresy has meant that we have often inherited desired elements from a traditional we also often tried to deny.
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 5: "KNOW LESS, WONDER MORE" with the Rev. Kathy Schmitz, minister of the First Unitarian Church of Orlando. 11am. One not to be missed!

LAST CHANCE for OKTOBERFEST This Friday, November 12, at 6pm, will be our festive OKTOBERFEST. Surrounding a main dish of wurst und kraut mit schweinflesch will be a variety of side dishes and desserts brought by our attendees. Beverages will freely flow, songs will be sung, and a good time will be had by all. This for only $10 per adult, $3 per child! However, no walk-ins please.

What a day for our value of "the inherent worth and dignity of every person"! The Florida restrictions which prohibited adoption by gays not only have been overturned by the courts but the state has decided not to appeal. Now, all people are equal to be adopted parents.And a Federal Court has ordered the US military to stop enforcing the "Don't Ask - Don't Tell" edict, again upholding the worth and dignity of everyone.

Join us Sunday morning at 11am on August 22, as Dr. Becker presents "A Religion of Sunshine, Not of Shadows" - a provocative look at the central and essential tenets of Unitarian Universalism. And then at noon we will honor founding member and former Fellowship president, C. Howard Crane, in remembering his life with us and mourn his recent death. All are welcome to join us for both or either of services.
